Award Lectureships

Sunday, March 19, 10:30 – 12:00 (Plenary Session 2104)

The Asian & Oceanian Region awards 2 distinguished lectureships to honor pioneering experts and leaders in the field: the Philip Thompson Lectureship Award and the Yoshikuni Mizuno Lectureship Award. The esteemed recipients are invited to present on topics of interest.

The 2023 awardees are Pramod Pal, Bangalore, (receiving the Philip Thompson Lecture Award) Roongroj Bhidayasiri, Bangkok, (receiving the Yoshikuni Mizuno Lecture Award).

 

Opening Ceremony and Gala Dinner

All delegates are warmly invited to celebrate the commencement of the Congress at the Opening Ceremony, followed by a Gala Dinner. This event is open to all delegates, and there is no additional charge to attend.

 

Candid Conversations with AOS Leaders

Friday, March 17, 2023, 17:15-18:15

Modeled after the famous Indian celebrity talk shows, this lively session will feature the biggest "celebrities" of the MDS-AOS region. The host will interview panelists, diving into their past and uncovering their vision for the future.

 

In conjunction with the AOPMC, the Movement Disorders Society of India’s 7th annual MDSICON will be the preceding day, Thursday, March 16, at the same location.

You can register for either or both events on the AOPMC registration form. There is no additional fee for AOPMC attendees to join MDSICON.
